Committee to Review Apartment, Retail Projects
The Odenton Town Center Committee will hear details about more than 25,000 square feet of new retail space in the north section of town.
Odenton's development review board will examine two new projects proposed along Annapolis Road, including an apartment project and a complex with nearly 25,000 square feet of retail.Â
The Odenton Town Center Plan Oversight Committee will meet Tuesday and review Alliance Residential's plan for 212 apartments at Nevada Avenue and Baldwin Road. The committee had previously approved a sketch plan for the project, and will now consider a final plan with modifications.Â
The committee will also review a new proposal for Garner Center, a retail complex planned for a two-block stretch along Annapolis Road across from Fort Meade. The center, located at 1566 and 1572 Annapolis Road, includes one larger building with space for six retail tenants and two other smaller retail buildings. In all, the project calls for roughly 25,000 square feet of retail.
