Couple Reports Armed Robbery in Pioneer City
Police said a man approached two people with a handgun and stole some money before running off.
Anne Arundel County police are investigating an armed robbery in Pioneer City on Wednesday night.
Police said they responded at about 8:50 p.m. to the intersection of Severn Orchard Circle and Pioneer Drive in Severn.
Officers spoke with 24-year-old woman and 30-year-old man who said they were walking in the area when a man approached them carrying a handgun. Police said the suspect stole some money from them before running away on foot. Officers searched the area with help from K-9 and Aviation units, but did not find the man.
