Eden Brook Residents Win Case Against Builder
A jury determined that NVR Homes used poor work when constructing units at the 55-and-over condominium complex.

A jury has awared $5.6 million to the the community of Eden Brook in Odenton, after determining that a homebuilder performed shoddy work in constructing units there.Â
The Baltimore Sun reported that the jury determined that NVR Inc. did poor work in building the 226-unit condominium complex. Community residents had alleged the condominiums were plagued with problems stemming from low-quality materials and workmanship below industry standards.
The Sun reported that the trial last about five weeks and included testimony from more than two dozen residents.Â

NVR Inc. does busines under several company names, including Ryan Homes.
Edenbrook is a condominium complex for residents aged 55 and over. It is located near Piney Orchard, but is not part of the Piney Orchard Community Association.Â
