Firefighters Quickly Quench Flames in Home Off Telegraph Road

A quick response time allowed firefighters to put out a mobile home fire in about 20 minutes.

Anne Arundel County firefighters responded to a trailer home fire off of Telegraph Road around 12:46 p.m. Friday, and only 20 minutes later, the situation had been quenched.

According to Chief Michael Cox, a spokesman for the fire department, it took 24 firefighters to get the situation under control after they arrived on scene and noticed smoke coming out of the home.

In the development located directly across from Jason's Landing, firefighters also had to execute a search of the home since it was unknown if any people were inside the residence, said Cox.
