Gazette: Charges Dropped Against Man Accused of Severn Murder

James William King Jr. will see the first-degree murder charge dropped.

A man charged with killing another man at an intersection in Severn last August will see all charges against him dropped by prosecutors, according to the Maryland Gazette.

James William King Jr. was charged with first-degree murder and multiple handgun charges, facing a possible sentence of life in prison—that is, until evidence was revealed that showed King was in fact in Baltimore during the time of the shooting, the Gazette reported.
