ICYMI: What's Open, Closed in Odenton for Christmas 2014

While city offices and schools are closed on Christmas Day and Dec. 26, some businesses remain open for the holiday.

Here’s a list of what’s open and closed around Odenton on Christmas Day and the next day.

If you know of a business that will be open and it’s not on the list, leave the name in the comments along with any special holiday hours.

Government:

• Anne Arundel government offices will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 25, and on Friday, Dec. 26, for the Christmas holiday.
• Trash and Recycling — Refuse and recycling will be delayed one day. If your normal pick-up day is on Thursday, then collection will occur on Friday. If your normal pick-up day is on Friday, then collection will take place on Saturday.
• Rabies Clinic — open from noon to 3 p.m. Christmas Day

Arundel Mills Mall: Open until 6 p.m. Christmas Eve; closed on Christmas Day; open until 9:30 p.m. Dec. 26.

Grocery Stores:

• Food Lion — open until 11 p.m. Christmas Eve; closed on Christmas Day
• Weis Markets — open until 6 p.m. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
• Safeway — open until 8 p.m. Christmas Eve; open until 5 p.m. Christmas Day

Liquor and Wine Stores:

• Waugh Chapel Village Wine and Spirits — open until 10 p.m. Christmas Eve; open until 6 p.m. Christmas Day
• 424 Wine & Spirits — open until 9 p.m. Christmas Eve; open until 2 p.m. Christmas Day
• Hops & Vines — open until 9 p.m. Christmas Eve; open until 2 p.m. Christmas Day
• The Wine Box — open until midnight Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Recreation:

• Greenway Bowl — open on Christmas Day from 4 p.m. to midnight
• Cinemark Egyptian 24 and XD open on Christmas Day with normal hours; check for movie times.
• Regal Waugh Chapel Stadium 12 & IMAX open on Christmas Day with normal hours; check for movie times.

Libraries:

All Anne Arundel County public libraries will be closed Dec. 24-25.
