Local High School Sports Schedules for Jan. 2-5

After a winter break that featured some out-of-county contests, the sports teams for high schools in west Anne Arundel County are back in action this week. 

Here's a look at the key varsity games involving Arundel, Meade and Old Mill High Schools. 

Arundel High

• Indoor track - County invitational. Wednesday, 3:30 p.m. at Prince George's County Athletic and Learning Complex. 
• Swimming - Wednesday, 3:30 p.m. and Saturday, 3 p.m. at Arundel Olympic Swim Center
• Wrestling -  at Severna Park, Wednesday, 7 p.m., 
• Boys Basketball - vs. Southern, Friday, 5 p.m.
• Girls basketball -  vs. Southern Friday 6:45 p.m.
• Bowling - Friday, vs. Old Mill 4 p.m. Greenway Bowl in Odenton.

Old Mill High

• Indoor track - County invitational. Wednesday, 3:30 p.m. at Prince George's County Athletic and Learning Complex. 
  
• Wrestling - at Meade, Wednesday, 7 p.m., at North Point, Saturday, 10 a.m.
• Girls Basketball - vs. St. Mary's, Wednesday, 6:45 p.m.; Meade, Friday, 5 p.m.
• Boys Basketball - vs. Meade, Friday, 6:45 p.m.
• Bowling - Friday, vs. Arundel 4 p.m. Greenway Bowl in Odenton.

Meade High

• Indoor track - County invitational. Wednesday, 3:30 p.m. at Prince George's County Athletic and Learning Complex. 
• Wrestling – vs. Old Mill, Wednesday, 7 p.m.; Bo Manor Tournament, all day Friday.
• Girls Basketball – at Old Mill. Friday, 5 p.m.
• Boys Basketball - at Old Mill. Friday, 6:45 p.m.
