Fire Hits Seven Oaks Apartments Again
Firefighters are on the scene of the blaze at Kintore Circle in the Seven Oaks section of Odenton
Updated - (4 p.m.)—A fire has torn through an apartment building in Odenton, not far from where a blaze struck about a month ago.Â
Fire officials said the fire affected about 12 units, displacing as many as 30 people.Â
The blaze began shortly after 1 p.m. Wednesday near the 2000 block of Kintore Circle. Firefighters quickly entered the building to an effort to suppress the flames and find anyone inside, according to Division Chief Michael Cox of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.Â

However, the fire spread to all three levels of the building, and firefighters were forced to battle the blaze from the outside using elevated water streams, Cox said.Â
Cox said it took 60 firefighters from the Anne Arundel County and the Fort Meade fire departments to get the fire under control.Â

No one was hurt in the fire, but the Red Cross has been called to assist families.
Cox said the cause of the fire is under investigation. He acknowledged that there was another large fire on Sept. 30 in the same apartment complex, but said there is no indication at this time that the two are related. Cox said the fire on Sept. 30 was ruled to be accidental.
