Old Mill Set for Rematch with Arundel in County Playoffs
The Patriots will travel to Arundel hoping to avenge last week's two-point defeat.
Old Mill's boys basketball team will get a hint of déjà vu this Friday when they head to Arundel high school for the first round of the county playoffs.
After suffering a to Arundel last Tuesday, the boys will be eager to turn things around. Despite impressive performances from standout players Eric Savage and Joe McCargo who scored a combined 43 points, the Patriots were unable to overcome an early deficit, losing to the Wildcats 86-84.
After the game, Head Coach Greg Smith credited Arundel for solid shooting around the perimeter.

“You’re not going to win too many games against teams that shoot the ball that well,” said Smith. “They shot the ball in the first half as well as anybody we’ve played all year.”
Old Mill will also look to shut down Billy Fowler, one of the key shooters for the Arundel squad, who scored 25 points in their last matchup.
