Police Arrest Two in Meade Village Murder

Both suspects are charged with First and Second degree murder.

Anne Arundel County Police have arrested two suspects in the slaying of a last December in Meade Village.

Identified as Darrius Bullock, 18, and Tavon Brown, 19, the suspects have been charged with First and Second Degree Murder as well as charges of Robbery and Assault. Both are awaiting trial.

The teenagers were charged in the homicide of Ghulam Farooq, 46, after he was found on Dec. 18 with stab wounds outside the 1700 block of Meade Village.

Police reported that Farooq was a making a food delivery when he was assaulted and robbed. After arriving on the scene, police discovered Farooq’s injuries and he was flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore, where he later died.
