Police Report String of Shed Burglaries

There are reports of at least four sheds being broken into in the Weatherfield community of Severn. Police also reported a residential burglary at a nearby street.

Anne Arundel County police are warning the community about a series of burglaries involving sheds in the Severn area.

Police said that residents of the Weatherfield community off Burns Cross Road reported several thefts, in which it appeared that locks were pried or cut off. In most cases, yard and landscaping equipment was stolen.

There have been at least five reported burglaries in or near the Weatherfield community, including four involving sheds. Police reported two shed burglaries from homes in the 1500 block of King Philip Circle. Other shed burglaries were reported at the 1500 block of Clearfield Circle and the 1500 block of Wampanoag Drive.

Police are also investigating a burglary from a home at the 100 block of Gambrills Road, just outside the Weatherfield community.
