Road Rage Shooting In Anne Arundel County Prompts Arrest
A road rage crash led a woman to shoot a car in Anne Arundel County. Police said they arrested the suspect.

ANNAPOLIS JUNCTION, MD — A road rage crash and shooting in Anne Arundel County prompted an arrest this week, police said.
Officers announced Tuesday that 24-year-old Tawana Amari Watkins of Waldorf was arrested.
Authorities said the crash and shooting happened in Annapolis Junction on March 8 around 6:40 p.m.

Police said the two females, who know each other, were engaged in road rage stemming from a previous interaction.
Their cars collided on the ramp from eastbound Maryland Route 32 onto southbound Baltimore Washington Parkway, officers said.

Authorities said the victim and the suspect exited their vehicles and argued briefly before the victim started returning to her car.
Police said that's when the suspect shot the front of the victim's 2002 Honda Civic sedan.
The suspect fled in a white Hyundai, officers said.
Nobody was hurt.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department said it secured an arrest warrant the day of the wreck.
The Charles County Sheriff's Office took Watkins into custody on Monday, a press release said.
