Running enthusiasts still have chances to compete in 5k races and other events in the coming weeks.

Where: Murphy Field House, Fort Meade
Details: Cost is $25, and the race is open to the public. This is the final race of this year's Fort Meade Run series.

Bullseye Running Rudolph Run 4 Miler
When: Dec. 16, 9 a.m.
Where: Rockburn Branch Park, Elkridge.
Details: Cost is $16.05. Run the full course or partner on a 2-person relay. David's Natural Market will bring hot cocoa and Uno's will bring warm soup.

Where: Druid Hill Park, Baltimore
Details: Cost is $30. The 12th annual running of this event will follow a course passing through the zoo and arboretum.
When: Jan. 1, 2 p.m.
Where: Patterson Park, Baltimore
Details: Cost is $25, with proceeds going to Earl's Place, an organization that helps the homeless.
