Obsessed with sweets
Local teenagers were arrested after police found  in the Old Mill parking lot with an unnaturally large amount of candy and other sugary confections in the back seat of their car early Thursday morning.Â
Police said the teens broke into the concession stand at Old Mill High School and stole the goods during the night.Â
Some other Severn residents, a couple, decided they wanted to satisfy their sweet tooth as well but in a more health-concious manner.  is scheduled to open a Smoothie King in Crofton's Waugh Chapel, soon to open at the beginning of May.Â
After several successful entrepreneurial efforts, David and Romica Brashear look to continue their streak and bring some fruity flavor into the lives of local residents.Â

It may not be as advanced as Doc's DeLorean from Back to the Future, but Gov. Martin O'Malley helped kick off a new initiative that will see at least 65 new  be installed throughout BWI's daily parking garage.Â
