Details: Anne Arundel County Schools Superintendent Kevin Maxwell will present his recommended operating and capital budget for fiscal year 2014.

Where: School of the Incarnation
Details: For the 7th straight year, students at SOTI will stuff backpacks filled with warm clothes to help homeless people in Baltimore. The more than 800 backpacks will then be distributed on Christmas Eve in conjunction with the charity Giving Back.
When: Thursday, 5 p.m. (boys) and 7 p.m. (girls)
