How have libraries changed since you were a kid?
They’ve always offered programming and a community hub. In that way they are still the same. Now, information is accessed in a different way. Our role is to still connect the customer with the information they are looking for--we just have different methods of doing that … [such as] e-books, audio books, etc.
What book are you reading now?
The book I’m reading is a young adult fiction [novel] called Spoiled. It is by the girls who do the blog Go Fug Yourself. It’s two authors. It’s like a Hollywood teen story, kind of like Mean Girls--good for the summer. I like the blog. I think it’s humorous.
What is the last book you read--for the second time?
I do read books for two times in a row. I think it might have been The Great Gatsby. I really like the time period.
