Owings Mills Among 'Best Places To Live In Baltimore Area': Niche
Owings Mills is among the top 100 places to call home in 2022 for the Baltimore area, according to a new report by Niche.
OWINGS MILLS, MD — Owings Mills is considered one of the best neighborhoods in the Baltimore metro area, according to Niche's new list of best places to live in 2022.
The new Niche listings, with rankings both national and local, were released Monday. It ranked Owings Mills No. 81 on its local "Best Places to Live" list.
"Living in Owings Mills offers residents an urban-suburban mix feel and most residents rent their homes," Niche commented on its website. "In Owings Mills there are a lot of coffee shops and parks. Many families and young professionals live in Owings Mills and residents tend to be liberal."

The company creates its annual "Best Places to Live" rankings using data from the U.S. Census, FBI, Bureau of Labor Statistics, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in addition to resident reviews, according to a news release.
It also considers factors like affordability, the housing market, diversity, public schools and walkability.
