Quote of the Day: Last Day of School 'Bittersweet' for Franklin Teacher
Do you remember how you felt during the "official" start of summer?

It's the last day of school for students .
I'm told, at at least, that most students are not in school today, and the hallways and classrooms are populated by teachers completing various last-minute tasks to get ready for next year.
"It’s one of those kind of bittersweet things," said Franklin High School teacher Howard Spears Friday. "It’s good to get the rest for a little while. [But] after a while you miss the kids. By August, you’re ready to get back."
