15-Year-Old Shot, 2 Adult Suspects Arrested In Baltimore County: Police
A 15-year-old boy was shot in Baltimore County. Two adults were arrested and charged with attempted murder, police told Patch.

ESSEX, MD — Two adults were arrested after a teenager was shot early Monday morning in Essex, police told Patch.
Officers said they were called to Bayner Road and Sandalwood Roads around 1:30 a.m.
Authorities said they found the 15-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to his lower extremity. He was taken to a hospital for treatment. Police told Patch Tuesday that he "continues to recover."

"Due to the quick response of patrol officers, the suspects were located and placed under arrest," the Baltimore County Police Department said in a press release.
Officers did not identify the suspects when Patch asked for their names.

"The suspects are currently being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bond on charges including attempted first-degree murder. Based on their investigation, detectives with the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit believe this to be a targeted incident," the press release said.
The Baltimore County Police Department asked anybody with information to call 410-887-4636. Callers can stay anonymous. Tipsters can also submit information through the county's iWATCH program at iwatch.baltimorecountymd.gov.
The Metro Crime Stoppers, an independent investigator, is also collecting anonymous tips and sharing them with officers. The Metro Crime Stoppers offered a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest on felony charges.
