Perry Hall High School Inducts 7 Into Hall Of Fame For 2022
The Perry Hall HS Athletic Association and Perry Hall High School Alumni Association inducted seven people into the Hall of Fame.

PERRY HALL, MD — Seven community members were honored at Perry Hall High School Thursday night during the school's annual Hall of Fame ceremony.
Five people were inducted into the Perry Hall High School Alumni Association's Hall of Fame, while two athletes were inducted into the Perry Hall High School Athletic Association's Hall of Fame.
The ceremony was set for 7 p.m. Thursday, April 28, at the Perry Hall High School cafeteria, according to Councilman David Marks, who was among the honorees and provided the following information.

Here are the 2022 inductees for the Perry Hall High School Halls of Fame:
Athletic Association Hall of Fame
Kathleen Rossetti Plumb, Class of 2005

Plumb was a standout athlete at Perry Hall High School, where she played field hockey, basketball, and lacrosse and was named East County Times Female Athlete of the Year in 2004. She played Division I lacrosse at Mount Saint Mary's University, where she excelled as a student and athlete and started 16 of 17 games her senior season. She was named to the Northeast Conference All-Tournament Team.
Viktor Vali, Class of 1986
Winner of multiple Maryland state track and field championships and several Perry Hall High School track and field records; standout on the Perry Hall High School football team; currently well established as a leader in information technology.
Alumni Association Hall of Fame
Diane Butcher Fanning, Class of 1968
She who has authored 15 true crime books and received of the Defender of Innocence award from the Innocence Project is also an Edgar-nominated writer and served as a consultant to 48 Hours; and she has a regular presence on 14 seasons of Deadly Woman and other national news shows.
Barbara Jane Gordon, Class of 1965
Gordon is a teacher, school administrator and coordinator of professional development for Baltimore County Public Schools, and community and child advocate.
David Marks, Class of 1991
Marks has been a Baltimore County Councilman since 2010; wax the longest president of the Perry Hall Improvement Association; is author of a history of Perry Hall, Maryland; and has held senior positions in the federal and state departments of transportation.
Debbie Stephis Schillinger, Class of 1991
A longtime community volunteer and leader, Schillinger has served as president of the Perry Hall High School Alumni Association; and she has also exceptionally involved in the Woman's Club of Perry Hall, historic preservation and animal welfare activities.
Marjorie Simon, Faculty Inductee
Simon, a longtime school library media specialist at Perry Hall High School, has worked with tenth-grade English teachers on a grade-wide Holocaust Education initiative and aided in the English Department, receiving award-winning recognition in Holocaust Education; and has advocated on immigrant and refugee issues.
