Avenue At White Marsh Changes Youth Escort Policy

A temporary mandate is in effect on The Avenue at White Marsh this week.

NOTTINGHAM, MD — The Avenue at White Marsh is introducing a temporary policy.

Effective at 5 p.m. on Monday, April 11, The Avenue at White Marsh will require those under age 17 or those without proof of age to have transportation from the property before 5 p.m. each day.

The youth escort policy had been in effect on Fridays and Saturdays. This week it will be in effect on weekdays.

"This policy update is temporarily in effect through Monday, April 18," officials at The Avenue said in a statement Monday.

Officials issued the policy in alignment with spring break, Lisa Geiger, spokesperson for The Avenue, told Perry Hall Patch.

April 11 to April 18 is spring break for Baltimore City and Baltimore County public schools.
