Carnival Canceled After 4 Minors Arrested In White Marsh: Police
The White Marsh carnival was canceled after "multiple disturbances." Four minors were arrested, but reports of shots fired aren't confirmed.
NOTTINGHAM, MD — The White Marsh Mall carnival was canceled Saturday evening after "multiple disturbances" and a theft led to the arrest of four minors, authorities said.
The Baltimore County Police Department said it has heard reports of shots fired at the carnival, but noted "that information is unverified at this time."
Nobody was hurt during the unrest, officers said.

Authorities said event security and off-duty officers staffing the event requested backup after "several incidents."
Police said they arrested three minors connected with the disturbances and a fourth juvenile accused of an unrelated theft.

Officers did not identify the underage suspects. That's normal protocol for minors charged with most crimes.
Carnival staff closed the event early on Saturday, authorities said.
Police announced Sunday that the rest of the Dreamland Amusements Carnival at 8200 Perry Hall Blvd. is canceled entirely.
