Doorbell Camera Shows Neighbors’ Rescue Of Family From House Fire: Watch
Watch as a doorbell camera shows Middle River neighbors rescuing a mom and her two kids from the second story of their burning townhouse.
MIDDLE RIVER, MD — A doorbell camera captured footage of Middle River neighbors rescuing a mom and her two kids from the second story of their burning townhouse early Tuesday.
The Baltimore County Fire Department shared the footage, which shows neighboring residents running to the burning home to help the family. One man is seen catching two children from a second-story window, with others locating ladders and flagging passing drivers for assistance.
At 7:12 a.m. Tuesday, fire crews arrived to find fire showing from a two-story townhouse in the 400 block of Kosoak Road. The woman and children suffered minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Authorities said a family dog was found dead in the home.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

“This incident is a powerful reminder of the strength of our communities,” said Baltimore County Fire Chief Joseph Dixon in a news release. “Before our fire and EMS crews arrived, neighbors acted without hesitation to help a mother and her children escape a dangerous situation. I want to thank these residents for their courage and selflessness, and commend our crews for their swift response in extinguishing the fire and providing medical support.”
