Fatal Pedestrian Crash Claims 73-Year-Old Man In Perry Hall: Police

A 73-year-old pedestrian died after a car hit him in Perry Hall, police said.

PERRY HALL, MD — A 73-year-old pedestrian died after a car hit him Friday in Perry Hall, police said.

Officers identified the victim as Om Bahadur Shrestha.

Authorities said a 2016 Nissan Versa sedan hit the victim while he was trying to cross Belair Road at Penn Avenue around 8:40 a.m.

Police said medics took the victim to a hospital, where he later died.

Officers said the driver stayed on the scene.
