Fatal Shooting Victim Not Yet IDed In Middle River Homicide: Police

The fatal shooting victim hasn't yet been identified in a Middle River homicide, police said. Officers haven't announced any arrests either.

MIDDLE RIVER, MD — A male was fatally shot recently in Middle River, police announced on Monday.

An officer from the Essex Precinct was on routine patrol in the 2200 block of Hawthorne Road when they found the victim around 7:15 p.m. on Nov. 1, a press release said.

Authorities said the victim was taken to a hospital and pronounced deceased.

Police were still trying to identify the victim as of Monday. The autopsy results were still pending as of then. There were not any suspect or arrest announcements either.

Police asked anybody with information to call 410-307-2020. Callers can stay anonymous. Tipsters can also submit information through the county's iWATCH program at iwatch.baltimorecountymd.gov.

The Metro Crime Stoppers, an independent investigator, is also collecting anonymous tips and sharing them with officers. The Metro Crime Stoppers offered a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest on felony charges.
