Jones suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the incident, Baltimore County Police said.

Police said the domestic-related assault was reported about 6:35 a.m. Tuesday in the unit block of Breslin Court. Officers found the woman and two juveniles suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to the upper body, according to a news release, and all were taken to the hospital.

Marcelle posted on GoFundMe, in part: "On Christmas Eve at 6:30am myself, my one and only son, and my daughter were shot by the hands of their father. I was shot in my head and am fortunate enough to be here to tell this story so is my 1yr old daughter who was shot in her shoulder. Unfortunately, my son who was shot in the head did not make it. Grieving the loss of my son has been the most unbearable thing I’ve ever had to deal with. … I am needing the help of those who can help me financially to bury my son in the proper way."
