NOTTINGHAM, MD — Firefighters were called to a blaze inside the Target on Campbell Boulevard Wednesday morning, officials said.

A tarp on the ceiling caught fire, and the blaze was reportedly extinguished by those inside, the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company reported after 11:45 a.m.

Crews said they were helping to ventilate the building, which had "significant smoke." The Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company was summoned to assist with the ventilation.
