Makers Of Maryland To Open On The Avenue At White Marsh
A business focusing on Maryland-made products will open this spring in Nottingham.

NOTTINGHAM, MD — The Makers of Maryland is opening in a new spot this spring.
Featuring products that are made in the Free State, the business has had a presence on The Avenue at White Marsh in recent months.
From May to December 2021, the store set up shop near Ulta in the space that used to be Pier 1 Imports.

The pop-up store supported 72 small businesses who sold nearly 30,000 items during that time, according to the Makers of Maryland.
"We are so excited to finally announce that we have found a permanent home" within The Avenue at White Marsh, the Makers of Maryland announced Wednesday. "We have built a wonderful relationship with The Avenue over the last few years and making it our forever home just feels SO RIGHT!"

The new location for the Makers will be next to Banditos on the green, officials said. It will operate from May to October and be "more than a retail store," functioning as a "hub for the creative community," according to the Makers of Maryland.
"We CANNOT wait to bring you products made from local, small businesses," organizers said.
The Makers of Maryland will open in its new spot on The Avenue at White Marsh this May.
