PERRY HALL, MD — A gas station in Perry Hall sold a lottery ticket worth $15,514 recently, according to the Maryland Lottery.

The Perry Hall BP sold the ticket on Thursday, March 31, officials said, and the winner had not yet claimed the prize as of Monday, April 4.

The ticket was for the Racetrax game, which simulates a horse race.

It was among 31 Maryland Lottery tickets worth at least $10,000 sold or redeemed in the week ending April 3, according to authorities.

The Perry Hall player was not the only big winner in the area, lottery officials said.

Nearby, a $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold at the Original Maria's Inn at 1812 Taylor Avenue on Friday, April 1. The winner of that prize had not come forward either as of Monday, April 4.

Prizes greater than $25,000 must be claimed by mail or at the Maryland Lottery headquarters in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330, Baltimore, MD 21230. To visit, people must make an appointment at the lottery headquarters.
