A Belair Road business sold a $25,000 lottery ticket, according to the Maryland Lottery.

PERRY HALL, MD — A store in Perry Hall sold a winning lottery ticket recently, according to officials.

Perry Hall Liquors sold a $25,000 "Pick 5" ticket, in which a player selects five numbers and hopes for a match.

For matching all five numbers, the player who purchased the ticket in Perry Hall received the top prize.

The ticket has not yet been claimed, the Maryland Lottery reported Monday, March 28.

Officials said the $25,000 ticket in Perry Hall was among 35 prizes in the last week in Maryland worth at least $10,000. The top prize for the week that ended Sunday was a $500,000 win scored by a player in the $500,000 Crossword game, whose $20 scratch-off ticket was sold at a Hub Wine & Spirits on Erdman Avenue in Baltimore.

Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Customer Resource Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only.
