Perry Hall Man Sentenced To Life In Ex-Girlfriend's Death

A Perry Hall man who showed no remorse for killing his ex-girlfriend was sentenced this week, prosecutors said.

PERRY HALL, MD — A Perry Hall man was sentenced this week to life in prison for the death of his ex-girlfriend. Prosecutors said he planned to kill her before shooting her twice in the head.

Taylor India Webb, 22, was shot to death in her car in the corner of Hickory Falls Way at Hickoryhurst Drive in Perry Hall late in the evening on Feb. 26, 2019.

Prosecutors said her ex-boyfriend lured her to the area, where Webb texted a friend seconds before he opened the car door and shot her. In what became her last words, she told her friend by text message that Christopher Engles was walking to her car, officials reported.
