Perry Hall Man Killed in Crash Near Franklin Square Hospital
Excessive speed appears to be a factor in the two-vehicle accident, police said.
A Perry Hall man was killed late Wednesday morning in a vehicle accident near Franklin Square Hospital Center in Rosedale, Baltimore County police officials said.
Alfredas Josep Ortman, 19, of the 4000 block of Cliffvale Road in Perry Hall, was pronounced dead at the scene of the two-vehicle crash after 11:30 a.m. near the intersection of Franklin Square Drive and Castle Creek Circle.
Ortman was traveling eastbound on Franklin Square Drive at a high rate of speed. The vehicle crossed over the center line and was struck by a minivan traveling westbound. Excessive speed appears to be a factor in the accident, police said.

The driver of the minivan, a 53-year-old woman, was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
No charges will be filed against the woman, police said.
