A Family Affair Children's Center

We have a full preschool program serving children ages two through five years old. We use creative curriculum which is a theme based, teacher created curriculum. We have a music teacher who comes once a week and we take several field trips a year. Our 2’s and 3’s Program In our 2’s and 3’s room we focus on helping children master self-care tasks such as toilet-training and using cups and forks as well as building social skills. We also lay the foundation for future academic learning with the basics such as the alphabet, colors, and basic math skills such as patterns and counting. Our 4’s and 5’s Program Our 4’s and 5’s program focuses on Kindergarten readiness. We cover all developmental areas including literacy, math concepts, science, social skills, music, and art all couched within a fun and interactive theme such as “Animals” or “The Beach.” Learning activities related to each of those topics are done throughout the week. Before and After School Care We provide before and after school care for children who attend Pine Grove or Harford Hills Elementary. We are open when schools are closed. We do a variety of indoor and outdoor activities such as: ○ Table games ○ Crafts ○ Legos ○ Outdoor play We also offer homework help, a morning and afternoon snack. Children are picked up and dropped off from the center by the BCPS bus system. Summer Camp We offer a school age summer camp for Kindergarten—5th graders. The Gator Holiday Classic 5K, sponsored by the Perry Hall High School PTSA, is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Sunday at 4601 Ebenezer Rd. But road closures will likely begin even earlier.  Find details about the race, including registration, here.  Starting as early as 7:45 a.m. and continuing until about 10 a.m., police will close Ebenezer Road, from Fieldchat Road to Honeygo Boulevard, and the southbound lanes of Honeygo Boulevard, from Ebenezer Road to Joppa Road, according to Cpl. Pat Wilhelm, White Marsh precinct traffic supervisor.  He urged area residents to prepare accordingly and asked drivers to avoid the area if possible.
