11 MOCO Schools Go Virtual Due To COVID-19 Case Counts: Report

Bethesda Beat reported that 11 of Montgomery County's 209 schools will be closed for the next two weeks due to COVID-19 case numbers.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Eleven Montgomery County Public Schools will be closed for two weeks due to a rise in case counts, Bethesda Beat reported Tuesday morning. Students at those schools will learn virtually.

The schools, as reported by Bethesda Beat, are in Rockville, Silver Spring, Chevy Chase, Clarksburg, Dickerson, Germantown, Sandy Spring and Gaithersburg. The list is: Rock Terrace School, Cannon Road Elementary School, North Chevy Chase Elementary School, Hallie Wells Elementary School, Monocacy Elementary School, Roberto Clemente Middle School, Forest Knolls Elementary School, Waters Landing Elementary School, Rosemont Elementary School, Seneca Valley High School and Sherwood Elementary School.
