15-Year-Old Hit By Car While Skateboarding In Rockville: Police
A teenager has been hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after he was hit by a car while skateboarding in Rockville Friday night.
ROCKVILLE, MD — Authorities say a 15-year-old boy has been hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after he was hit by a car while skateboarding in Rockville Friday night.
The collision happened at the intersection of Montrose Road and Evelyn Drive around 10:10 p.m., according to Montgomery County police.
A preliminary investigation by detectives determined that a 2012 Toyota Prius — driven by a 47-year-old Virginia resident — was traveling west on Montrose Road when it collided with the 15-year-old skateboarder.

The teenager was rushed to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. No updates have been provided as of Monday afternoon.
