Countryside Artisans Announce Art Tour

Countryside Artisans Spring Tour & Gallery will feature artists from all over the world with different techniques to entice art enthusiasts.

From Countryside Artisans: Countryside Artisans Spring Gallery & Studio Tour - April 21-23, Fri-Sun, 10-5pm. Meet the artists and enjoy their work in the beautiful settings that inspire them every day. Choose from 17 galleries and studios representing 50+ fine visual, sculptural, textile, and libation artists as you wind your way through scenic Montgomery, Frederick, and Howard counties on this free, self-guided, driving tour. New Studios (3):
  • Waredaca Farm Brewery brings to the tour a tasting room for beer brewed on this beautiful, 3rd generation family farm.
  • MudPi Studios offers hand-thrown teapots, mugs, and home-grown tea at Herron’s Meadow Farm -- Maryland’s first (and only) tea farm.
  • The Resident Artists at Sandy Spring Museum, a complement of eleven outstanding artists working in silver, clay, quilting, enamel and more in open studios on site. Grand Opening of New Artist Barn on April 22!
The artists on this tour have works in private collections across the country and have shown in many celebrated galleries, museums, and exhibitions. This year, the Countryside Artisans have been selected for two group exhibitions celebrating the countryside at the Kentlands Mansion and Black Rock Center for the Arts.The Countryside Artisans of Maryland represents a selected group of accomplished visual, sculptural, and textile artists working in oil, pastel, watercolor, pencil, ceramics, porcelain, glass, stone, wood, yarn, textiles, photography, silver, enamel, hops and grapes. The Countryside Artisans jointly open their galleries and studios located in historic, rural Montgomery, Howard, and Frederick Counties in Maryland for three art tours each year in April, October, and December.
