First Dome Glamping Site In MD Open For Season
The renovated Bumblebee RV Park & Campground is open and also hosts the state's first geodesic dome glamping venues in Western Maryland.
ACCIDENT, MD — The renovated Bumblebee RV Park & Campground is open near Accident in western Maryland for the season and also hosts the state's first geodesic dome glamping venues, its website said.
Bumblebee Management has opened the camping options at Deep Creek Lake. The redevelopment includes upgraded RV accommodations and fully equipped luxury domes in Garrett County, with plans to expand into modular housing and consulting services, a report said.
The company told the MoCo Show that after a complete redevelopment, the property now features expanded RV accommodations and luxury glamping domes, offering guests a way to connect with nature in comfort. Each dome comes equipped with queen beds, a full kitchen, private bathrooms, and personal saunas.

Users can relax in hammocks placed in the woods onsite, or enjoy an indoor game room at the Bumblebee Campground.
“I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished in a short time, especially bringing a unique structure not seen in Maryland due to strict regulations,” Tony Jia, CEO and co-founder of Bumblebee Management, told the website.
