It’s part of a broader effort to transform that portion of downtown Rockville. Plans have already been submitted for a 190-unit senior center.

Great. Pack more people into an already overcrowded area. Does this comply with the city's APFO? If so, does it include Metro which gets packed now at Shady Grove?

Milestones | St. Mary's prepares for bicentennial celebration
St. Mary’s Catholic Church, at 520 Veirs Mill Road, will be kicking off a series of events to celebrate its Bicentennial Year on Aug. 22. The earliest recorded ceremony attributed to the parish, a baptism, was in the summer of 1813. See the announcement at Rockville Patch

The Southern rock band performs at Wine Down Thursday, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Rockville Town Square. Tasting tickets cost $5; food boxes are available for $3. Must be 21+ and show valid ID for wine tasting.
