Man Fatally Shot Inside MD Apartment In Apparent Homicide
Police are investigating the man's death after he was found fatally shot in June.

ROCKVILLE, MD — Police have launched a homicide investigation after a man was fatally shot inside a Rockville apartment last month.
According to Montgomery County police, officers responded to the building in the 600 block of Blandford Street shortly before 8 a.m. on June 14 for a welfare check. When officers arrived, they found 38-year-old Vincent De Porres Young II of Rockville suffering from gunshot wounds.
De Porres Young was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Following an autopsy conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, the manner of death was ruled a homicide.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. No suspect is in custody, and police did not release information about the possible shooter.
