Montgomery County's week-ahead weather forecast calls for conditions that are expected to get better and better.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Having sidestepped what turned out to be an imaginary snowstorm, Montgomery County greets a work-week weather forecast that gets progressively warmer headed into next weekend.
As for rain? As WRC (Channel 4) points out: "Anything we do see will be on the light side but we will carry the chance through the day tomorrow and into Tuesday morning."
Sunshine rolls in again Wednesday and will stick around for a while.

Monday: A slight chance of rain and snow before 11am, then a chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 46. Light and variable wind becoming southeast 5 to 8 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Monday Night: A chance of rain before 5am, then a chance of rain and snow. Cloudy, with a low around 38. Southeast wind around 6 mph becoming calm after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Tuesday: A chance of light snow before 8am. Partly sunny, with a high near 54. Northwest wind 7 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 36. North wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm after midnight.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 57. Calm wind becoming west 5 to 9 mph in the morning.
Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 42.
Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 71.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 52.
