GERMANTOWN, MD — A 16-year-old Clarksburg boy, already in custody on adult charges for a March 2024 shooting, faces additional charges related to an August 2024 shooting on Crystal Rock Drive in Germantown, police said.
When Jaiden Ochieng was arrested Sept. 6 for the March shooting, Montgomery County Police said he threw out a handgun, which ballistic testing later confirmed was the weapon used in the August shooting. The handgun had been reported lost by someone in Prince George’s County.
Ochieng now faces additional charges, including attempted first-degree murder, motor vehicle theft, and multiple firearms-related offenses, police said Thursday.
