ROCKVILLE, MD — Strap on those skates, because the outdoor ice skating rink at Rockville Town Square is reopening for the 2020-2021 winter season on Wednesday.
The 7,200-square-foot rink — billed as the largest in the Washington-Baltimore region — joins a number of restaurants and businesses located in the shopping district, including the recently opened Gyuzo Japanese BBQ and La Vie Nails.
"With the return of cooler temperatures, we are excited about the opening of the ice rink, located in the heart of Rockville for the community to enjoy all winter," said Dan Corwin, director of Asset Management for landlord Federal Realty Investment Trust. "This active neighborhood provides visitors with a unique mix of locally owned retail and dining options such as the newly opened Gyuzo Japanese BBQ, the soon-to-open HalfSmoke, and the new service provider La Vie Nails."
