Pedestrian Dies After Crash In Montgomery County
Police said the fatal collision happened Thursday near northbound Shady Grove Road and Blackwell Road.
ROCKVILLE, MD — A man died Thursday night after he was struck by a car in Rockville, according to Montgomery County police.
Authorities said the collision happened around 9 p.m. near northbound Shady Grove Road and Blackwell Road. According to police, the victim was struck by a 2020 white Genesis G70.
Police did not release details on what led to the crash. According to authorities, the driver of the Genesis remained at the scene.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died. Police said the victim's name would be released pending notification of family.
The Montgomery County Department of Police - Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the collision.
