ROCKVILLE, MD — The Rockville City Hall will reopen to the public on Jan. 3, 2022, after closing on March 14, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I strongly believe that employee collaboration and level of service to customers will benefit by reopening all city offices, including bringing employees back on site at City Hall,” said City Manager Rob DiSpirito in an email sent to Rockville employees.

City of Rockville employees are required to get the COVID-19 vaccine, unless they are approved for a health or religious exemption — that's for all employees, including those who work remotely. Employees who are granted an exception will need to undergo weekly testing.
