Rockville City Police: Robbery Arrest Made, Appliances Stolen From Home

The following incidents were provided by Rockville City Police. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Arrests

1200 block of Clagett Drive—A 26-year-old male was on charges of second-degree assault on April 22 at around 8:30 p.m.

14900 block of Shady Grove Road—A 63-year-old male was arrested for shoplifting on April 24 at 6:30 p.m.

A 24-year-old male was arrested April 24 and charged with robbery and 1st and 2nd degree assault in connection with an incident that occurred on March16 in the 300 block of Hungerford Drive.

700 block of Grandin Avenue—A 17-year-old male was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia on April 25, between 7:04 and 8:55 p.m.

Incidents

100 block of Bullard Circle—A microwave, refrigerator and a stove were taken from a house under construction, between 3 p.m. April 5 and 7 a.m. April 8. 

1600 block of Rockville Pike—Police said a male and two females took several bottles of perfume on display and left the business without paying. The men and women are described as:

  • 20-year-old black male, 5-foot-10, 150 pounds, brown eyes, short black hair, medium skin tone and last seen wearing a blue cap, blue jeans and a white T-shirt
  • 18-year-old black female, 5-foor-7, 100 pounds, thin build, brown eyes, long black hair, medium skin tone and last seen wearing  blue jeans and a black tank top
  • 21-year-old black female, 5-foot-6, 150 pounds, heavy build, brown eyes, long black hair, medium skin tone and last seen wearing pink pants and a black shirt.

200 block of Richard Montgomery Drive—Unattended cell phone was taken from a school bench at around 5 p.m. April 26.

1100 block of Higgins Place—A bottle of vodka, two pair of designer sunglasses, and a bank card from was taken from a vehicle that was parked in a parking garage, between 5 p.m. April 25 and 9 a.m. April 26.

300 block of Lorraine Drive— An unlocked rear door to a sunroom was accessed April 27, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Police said no access was gained into the main residence nor was anything taken.

600 block of Great Falls Road—A purse containing a wallet, driver’s license, money and a bank card were taken from a vehicle on April 27 between, 8:07 and 8:45 p.m.

1400 block of Longhill Drive—A laptop was taken from a residence between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. April 28. Police said a rear, sliding glass door was broken into.

1700 block of Evelyn Drive—A laptop, jewelry and two ID cards were taken from a residence, via an unlocked basement bathroom window, sometime between 2 p.m April 27 and 9 p.m. April 28.
