Rockville residents can get information on local storm response by signing up for Alert Rockville. Countywide information is available at www.montgomerycountymd.gov.

In the event of a power outage, updates will be posted at the city's Twitter feed, @Rockville411 and on the city's Facebook page.

Residents are reminded to call 911 in an emergency. If residents require emergency transport assistance. To report non-emergency incidents to the Rockville Police Department, call 240-314-8900.

• Fallen trees — Call Rockville parks, 240-314-8700, for fallen trees blocking roadways. After hours, call 240-314-8900.
• Fallen wires, trees on wires — Call Pepco at 1-877-737-2662. Residents are advised to stay clear of trees that are touching power lines.
