Tell Your MD Story Of Living With COVID-19 At A Public Library

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Residents across Maryland are invited to share their stories of living through the pandemic as part of a state wide initiative titled “Living and Dying with COVID-19: The Maryland Stories."

Montgomery County Public Libraries has joined in on the project, and will host two recording sessions for residents.

"COVID-19 has dramatically impacted communities, disrupting daily lives in numerous ways. Some residents have lost family members, jobs, homes; others have been forced to rearrange their lives in other ways due to school closings or virtual learning," the county said in its release. "Everyone has a story to tell and share."

Residents who want to share their experience can go to one of the following recording sessions:

• Davis Library (Bethesda): Tuesdays, noon to 2 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
• Aspen Hill Library Rockville): Wednesdays, 11 a.m. to noon and 6 to 7 p.m.

The stories will be entered as part of the Enoch Pratt Free Library’s Digital Maryland and Maryland State Archives. Some stories will also be distributed through WYPR, and the stories will be available to the public.
