TikTok Threats Are 'Noncredible,' MOCO Schools Says: Report
A statement from Montgomery County Public Schools says there is not a credible threat against the schools, and they'll monitor social media.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — There is not a credible threat against Montgomery County Public Schools, an official said in a statement to 7News. Baltimore County school officials said that law enforcement determined that a TikTok user in Arizona threatened violence in schools on Dec. 17, but said it is not a credible threat, 7News reported.
"We are aware of these threats as is local police," said Montgomery County Public Schools, according to 7News. "They are deemed noncredible and are happening in many communities and across the country. We will continue to monitor social media and consult with police."
