Winds, Hail and Flooding Could Be on the Way to Montgomery County
Thunderstorms predicted for Thursday evening and possible flooding on Friday.

The National Weather Service predicts wet, hazardous weather Thursday evening for much of central Maryland, including Montgomery, Howard, Carroll, Frederick and Washington counties.
East Montgomery County could see scattered thunderstorms on Thursday night, along with the possibility of damaging wind gusts and large hail.
Looking ahead to Friday, a flash flood watch has been issued for much of Maryland, including Montgomery County.

Temperatures will drop into the high 60s by Friday evening, according to NWS. Thunderstorms accompanied by more than two inches of rain are expected to begin midday and continue into the night.
