Wootton Grad Represents Maryland During DNC Roll Call

ROCKVILLE, MD — A recent Thomas S. Wootton High School graduate got the unique opportunity to represent Maryland during the Democratic National Convention's state roll call Tuesday night.

Bianca Shah appeared virtually with Baltimore City Council President Brandon Scott on Night 2 to cast the state's nominating votes for president of the United States.

"When Joe Biden rebuilds our middle class, he won't leave anyone behind," Shah, a 2018 Wootton High School alumna and University of Michigan student, said.
